Development of immunoassay for Dermatophagoide mites
D. pteronyssinus is the most important house dust mite that induces allergic diseases. Quantitative determination of D. pteronyssinus allergens in domestic dust samples allows to control allergenic load in different types of human living areas.
Polyclonal specific antiserum AS851 was obtained by immunization of the rabbits by D.pteronyssinus extract; the high tittered antiserum was enriched by specific antibodies using affinity chromatography on immobilized antigen. Resulting affinity purified antibody (AS851 A) is highly cross-reactive to D.farinae extract.
ELISA kit (K851) is constructed from affinity purified antibodies.
EIA kit performance data:
Test principle: competitive, polyclonal antibodies
Total time of analysis: 60/30/15 min
Sensitivity: 0.2 µg/ml
Material tested: house dust
