We have grown many Penicillium spp to study their antigens

Penicillium notatum (Ag830) extract was used as the source of immunogen to immunize rabbits. Antiserum AS830 raised against this species has shown very narrow species coverage within a genus; we plan to prepare more species extracts and repeat immunizations.
